Real Estate Agent

Born and raised in the Midwest, Lucy Adams graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Communications. Before deciding to become a real estate agent, Lucy enjoyed working across diverse industries and fields. She served as Director of Public Events at Taliesin West (Frank Lloyd Wright’s School of Architecture), Event Planner at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, enjoyed the challenge of working for the prominent law firm of Lewis & Roc, served as a Certified Mediator for the Arizona Attorney General, and operated multiple retail stores on Kauai. Lucy parlayed these varied experiences into a successful career as a real estate agent in Scottsdale, Arizona. She moved to Kauai in 1991, and immediately began playing a significant role in the local luxury real estate market. She joined Corcoran Pacific Properties in 2020 because of the company’s reputation for an exceptional staff, and its ability to provide her clients with exceptional tools and products.

As an agent, it’s important for Lucy to go above and beyond and deliver services beyond her clients’ expectations. For Lucy, the process of helping clients sell and purchase real estate is not just a heartwarming and rewarding experience, but also a cathartic one, as real estate has helped her weather difficult times. She prides herself on integrity, character, and honesty, and lives by the mantra that "Thoughts become words - words become actions - and actions become character--and character is everything.” Having earned the Global Luxury Status at CB, a CLMHS-Guild Member and ABR, Lucy’s love of Kauai and the diverse nature of real estate offerings on the island posit her as an invaluable resource for clients interested in Kauai’s luxury real estate market.

Always active in her community, both Lucy and her husband Gary became charter members of the Hanalei Bay Rotary Club and enjoy working on community projects. The two also traveled abroad as volunteers on humanitarian medical missions to Africa and China, and put together a medical team from Hawaii to perform cleft palate surgeries in the Philippines. Lucy understands the concept that you get out of life exactly what you give. She’s a proud mother, enjoys reading, walking with her dogs, and sharing sunsets with her husband Gary.
