Sancie M. De Mattos
Corcoran Pacific Agent
Real Estate Agent
Sancie De Mattos likes to stay busy, provide outstanding quality service to her clients and give back to her community. Sancie grew up on both the Big Island of Hawaii and the Island of Oahu. She attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa & the University of Hawaii at Hilo, followed by a 20-year professional career in high-end hotel and resort management where she rose to the key positions of Hotel Manager and Director of Guest Services.
On the Big Island she worked as a Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Resort at Hualalai, one of the most prestigious and highly rated upscale resorts in the world. While at the Four Seasons, Sancie transitioned to their ultra-exclusive residential community as the Director of Guest Services overseeing the residential concierge program for the homeowners.
In addition to her work in prestigious resort communities, Sancie held management positions in high-end destination clubs, managed multi-million dollar estate homes, and worked as a Commercial Property Manager for the upscale Kings’ Shops in Waikoloa Resort. During all this time, she also owned and operated a woman’s boutique for many years.
In 2004, Sancie went on to get her Real Estate License and is now a Realtor with Corcoran Pacific Properties specializing in luxury residential properties and land sales along the golden Kohala Coast of Hawaii’s Big Island.
It is very important to Sancie to give back to the community whenever possible. She gave generously to the American Cancer Society and held the position of West Hawaii Community Manager for “Relay For Life” overseeing events in Kailua-Kona, Waimea and Kohala. Prior to that, she served as the “Relay for Life” Team Captain in 2011 and again in 2012. In 2013, Sancie was the Event Chair for the 100th Birthday Hope Gala “Making a Difference” for Hawaii’s Big Island. She also volunteers for The Greg Cameron Firemen’s Fund, a foundation formed by her boyfriend’s brother who passed away from cancer, and as his final wish, wanted to provide financial support to Hawaii Fire Department employees and their families when they face injury or prolonged illness. Sancie also works with KARES, a non-profit animal relocation and education service. She herself has fostered neglected and abandoned pets, including two dog sisters that she made permanent members of her family. As if that’s not enough, Sancie also helps her boyfriend Doug with his construction business.
Above all her professional and charitable works, Sancie’s greatest achievement is her family. She has three daughters, Kristin, Courtney and Ashleigh, and six grandchildren. She loves spending quality time with her longtime boyfriend Doug. And on top of all this, she loves to golf & go hiking with the dogs!
