As a homeowner and year-round resident of Oahu for over thirty years, Joan Eva Atamian knows the islands, the wide range of properties and all the special places on the islands from a local's perspective. From the moment she first set foot in Hawaii, Joan Eva was enchanted by this magical place. To this day, and every day, she is still awed by the spectacular natural beauty and serenity of Hawaii, and can’t imagine living anywhere else. Passionate about real estate, Joan Eva is also a savvy real estate investor who enjoys remodeling properties to maximize their potential. She understands cost ratios, highest rate of return, and green building practices involved in purchasing and renovating living spaces. She has a great eye and knack for transforming raw space into a chic, warm and inviting home. Joan Eva also enjoys designing, planning, and overseeing landscaping projects which increase market value and expand outdoor areas into an extension of beautiful living spaces.

Joan Eva believes in giving her clients the personal attention they deserve, and she makes sure they understand and are comfortable with every step of the buying or selling process. She knows the process can be stressful, and her calm, caring nature, coupled with her upbeat personality, helps to ensure that clients have a smooth and happy experience.
In addition to her real estate salespersons license, Joan Eva has earned several nationally recognized certifications from the National Association of REALTORS. She is a certified Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), and a Resort and Second Home Specialist (RSPS).
Prior to becoming an agent, Joan Eva had an interesting and varied career in real estate. She taught construction classes at The University of Hawaii, and also worked in real estate development and management. Therefore, she has a unique understanding of the real estate business from many different perspectives.
A lover of nature and the outdoors, Joan Eva lives on the shores of Oahu and is an accomplished fabric artist and organist /pianist. Her other interests include gastronomy, photography, and woodworking.
