Tim became a full-time Hawaii real estate agent in 2006 and received his Broker license in 2013. The early years of Tim's real estate career were devoted to Poipu development sales at Kukui'ula, Wainani at Poipu, and Koloa Landing.
Through these experiences Tim gained extensive knowledge and understanding about these luxury Kauai properties.
In 2009, he returned to general brokerage where he helps buyers and sellers, island wide. "I enjoy helping people with their Kauai real estate needs. This career has allowed me to use my skills and gifts to help many people", says Tim.
Consequently, Tim's confident and outgoing personality landed him 2 episodes on HGTV's "Hawaii Life".
Tim also captains TEAM MIRA, A Kauai Real Estate team, which includes his niece, Nagel Mira, RS-84679 and his son, Cory Mira, Referral Agent with SPRE. As TEAM MIRA, they combine experience and technology, wisdom, and new perspectives to their real estate partnership. Born and raised on Kauai, they know the market, understand the culture, and live the lifestyle that make the island so special. As 4th & 5th generation Kauai residents, they also bring along a wealth of Hawaii resources.
Over the years, Tim has developed a style of client relationship building that has made him quite popular with his clients. Every Thursday, Tim hosts “Thursdays with Tim” on one of Kauai’s golf courses. The beautiful Kauai scenery, along with the casual tropical ambiance creates the perfect environment for sharing his knowledge about Kauai and its real estate. (If you're a golfer and interested in Kauai real estate, you most definitely want to give Tim a call.) When not golfing, you can find Tim on his Stand-Up Paddleboard at Poipu Beach.
Like his three older brothers, Tim served in the U.S. Air Force, which introduced him to mainland and international travel. He quickly learned how special his island home was.
In 1984, Tim married his wife, Lynn, a now retired CPA. Together, since their 25th anniversary, they serve their Kauai community by hosting a free marriage seminar called, "Love and Respect" several times a year. They have 2 adult sons, a grandson, and a golden retriever.
Being an avid musician, Tim recorded a CD, "Hele On To Kauai" in 1990. He is also an accomplished drummer and currently serves on his church's worship team.
