It is with great excitement that we welcome Matthew Kirk to the Corcoran Pacific brokerage in Mililani, Oahu!
Born and raised in Oahu, Matthew Kirk has an intimate knowledge of the local market and a passion for finding just the right home for his clients at just the right price. Matthew attended Pearl City High School and went on to earn his BBA at the University of Hawaii and then his MBA at the University of Wisconsin. After several years leading a career in Human Resources and starting a family, he faced the staggering loss of his daughter Mae, and it was this unimaginable event that he decided to make a shift in his life and become a realtor.
Matthew’s love for real estate has started to grow as his family grew: from a 1-bedroom condo to a full family home in Wahiawa. He found joy in the continued progression of searching, selling and renting each property that he knew he had to continue this as his new career. And it was Mae that made the final push for him.
With his HR background, Matthew strives to truly understand his clients’ needs and build strong relationships. He also possesses an analytical mind and enjoys improving the buying and selling processes to create a better experience for everyone he works with. He especially loves “the hunt”: finding that perfect home somewhere in the sweet spot of good timing and getting the right price. Whether it’s for buyers or sellers, Matthew only cares about helping to meet his clients real estate goals.
Family is very important to Matthew, especially buying the right home for your family legacy. It was this drive to provide for his family that helped him make the choice to become a realtor and that change has afforded him to follow his passion, earn a living and still spend valuable time with his loved ones. Matthew’s family consists of his wife, two boys ages 4 and 3, and 6 month old daughter Mae, who is always in their hearts. He also has two toy poodles that his boys love chasing around and cuddling with.
